ASP.NET Web Developer
Excellent opportunity for a talented ASP.NET web developer with at least two years commercial experience to become part of the dynamic team here at Distinction.
You must have the following:
- A passion for web design and development
- A real desire to push boundaries in web development through modern techniques, new ideas, etc
- Ability to work under initiative, effectively prioritising your workload to meet deadlines and budgets
- Excellent ASP.NET development skills (C# essential, with VB a distinct advantage)
- Comfortable working with Visual Studio 2008
- Good understanding of HTML / CSS (you'll normally be given nicely coded HTML, but you'll need to understand it all)
- Good understanding of MS SQL Server (2005 onwards)
- Good understanding of MS Server configuration, especially IIS 6/7 and permissions
To be a 'stand-out' candidate, you'd ideally have:
- Experience with Kentico CMS (this would be a distinct advantage)
- Practical experience of AJAX, SOAP, XML, LINQ, SQL, etc
- Understanding of PHP, classic ASP and Javascript
This is expected to be a full time role, working Monday - Friday in our Nottingham office.
Salary is dependent on experience.
