Distinction are currently recruiting for one or more Creative Web Desginers to join our small team in our Lace Market, Nottingham Office.
The ideal candidate will have commercial experience as a web designer which you can demonstrate through a strong portfolio of work.
The Role
- Developing web concepts, working drafts and live websites
- Maintaining and improving existing websites and applications
- Working as part of a team or individually depending on the project
Essential Skills
- Creativity, creativity, creativity
- XHTML (hand coded, W3C-compliant)
- CSS (hand coded)
- Photoshop and Illustrator
- Flash
- Practical experience of user-centred design
- Understanding of SEO and of creating semantic XHTML
Desired Skills
- JavaScript & AJAX
- FTP
- Related Arts/Design degree
- Willing to push boundaries of web design
