New website, CMS and ongoing Search Engine Optimisation for MB Nottingham
Brief
MB Nottingham commissioned Distinction in 2010 to improve their under-performing website presence.
MB Nottingham are an independent Mercedes-Benz service centre, using all genuine parts, liquids and diagnostics to service your Mercedes-Benz. They consistently save their customers in excess of £130 on average compared to servicing your car at a dealership, and your warranty is unaffected.
The brief was simple – “increase traffic to the site, and convert that traffic to sales”.
Solutions
A new website was designed and integrated with our content management solution of choice, Kentico CMS. The new design was much more professional and easier to navigate than their previous site, and the CMS allows them to make regular updates to their own site.
Throughout the web design process, we ensured that the site was fully optimised for SEO purposes. The site was carefully designed so that visitors could find their way around easily, with ‘calls to action’ being prevalent.
A bespoke service booking engine was also designed so that visitors could book their service directly through the website.
A used Mercedes-Benz area was also developed, allowing MB Nottingham to upload current stock lists at the click of a button.
Finally, an ongoing programme of search engine optimisation was devised to optimise for key search terms such as ‘Mercedes service in Nottingham’.
Results
The new site saw an instant uplift in visitor numbers and, more importantly, conversions.
The website is now the main lead generator for the business, which when you consider that MB Nottingham also promote their business on the local radio and via direct mail, is some achievement.
The site ranks No. 1 on all the major search engines (as at 20 April 2011) for the chosen keywords, such as:
