The Brief
In early 2005, One For Health decided to upgrade their aging e-commerce sites to offer a more competitive edge.
Originally, they had to administer a number of HTML based sites, each with their own specific branding, which was a time-consuming task to undertake. To compete with an ever expanding market, One For Health took the decision to commission Distinction to design and build a bespoke content management system for managing their series of web sites, while providing functionality that would offer them with a competitive edge, as well as a complete re-design of their e-Commerce websites.
The Solution
The solution Distinction supplied was a bespoke e-Commerce and content management system to allow the client to administer multiple e-Commerce sites seamlessly through one interface, managing orders and site specific data, while keeping each e-Commerce site as its own distinct brand to the end user.
We came up with a phased approach for converting over the existing sites. Working closely with One For Health, Distinction have been able to define where a bespoke software solution would streamline existing processes, optimising the work flow.

Currently, phase one has been completed with the initial site up and running and phase two is closing in on completion. This has allowed One For Health can focus on new business and manage orders more effectively through a single interface, which has meant noticeable increases in sales and the effectiveness of their internal
order handling process.
