Your Short Break came to us with big ideas and a limited budget. Their experience in the B2C market led them into providing a web-based solution to cater for the short break holiday market.

Following detailed analysis of their market, competition and opportunities, Distinction put forward a pitch to design and develop a directory of five web sites.
By offering a directory of sites, to cater for camping breaks, cottage breaks, bed and breakfast breaks and hotel breaks, the company offers immediate benefits to advertisers and visitors alike.
These sites were to run off one database, using one administration interface, and we therefore suggested a solution using ASP.NET 3.5 with SQL Server 2005 - both the latest technologies from Microsoft.
The sites fully utilise the Google Map API to give the visitor a unique searching experience. The private back-office area allows listing owners to manage just about every aspect of their listing, including the ability to add offers throughout their listing period free of charge.
Distinction also created customised email stationery for an email marketing campaign using our own email distribution software.
results
The site has only been live for a couple of weeks but the results from the email marketing have been instantaneous.
We expect the site to pick up momentum over the coming weeks and months, eventually growing to be a large player within the industry.
