I recently noticed that my battery life on my iPhone 3Gs was suddenly depleting much quicker than standard. I do use it for push emails from Microsoft Exchange but I'd not had a problem with this in the past. I was losing a full carge within 4 hours.

In summary you have 3 options;
- Reboot iPhone
- Redo Push
- Restore as New iPhone
Conclusion
I deleted and re-created my push email account and hey presto my battery life seems to be back to how it was.
